Do not use invalid email addresses, this will make your account unrecoverable.

Use an email alias instead, like Simple Login or one of Apple's private addresses.
Like my account recovery a few years ago because I did a password reset via a secret query and it got my account locked.

[HELP] My Account is Locked

The only way is to use the recovery via the email connected to the Bitcointalk account.
If the email used is invalid or uses a temporary email, there is no other way to restore your account.

The importance of using a valid email but not a primary email, Email is specific to crypto use.
Because if you use the main email, you are more at risk of receiving a lot of spam and some phishing links.

If I’m confident I will always remember my password, I’d prefer not to provide my email address, because I’ve seen it get leaked in past data breaches.
