Some privacy can be achieved by using Tor, but it is far from the fact that there are those who cannot find you even then, only if they want to.
When you say "attack on privacy", I ask you, do you still think there is privacy in the online world?
Of course there is. There is a huge difference between the privacy I have on this forum when accessing it through Tor and with a proton.me email address when I registered, and having to use a digital identity to access the internet, where each and every one of my steps will be monitored instantly.
There is certainly some protection, but the issue is that it's not perfect. Tor is just one layer of privacy. Many users still log into Facebook, X, Instagram, and other censored platforms, which can expose their identity regardless of using Tor. Proton.me email addresses with fully anonymous aliases offer better protection, especially when combined with Tor. But how many people truly care enough to take those extra steps?
Also, I’d like to ask; Can’t websites still observe a browser’s unique traits like screen size, fonts, language settings, and even browsing behavior in attempt to fingerprint or identify a user, even when they’re using the Tor Browser?
