From what we are seeing, influencers are just trying to make money for themselves, not for you. If they made money but you lost, they wouldn't care, if you made money while they do, they would be happier that's true because you will listen to what they say and make them even more money in the future. So they would "prefer" to be right, but not a must.

The most important thing for someone who gives trading advice, is to make their own money and grow their fame, if they do, they make more money and they live a better life, meanwhile you could be losing all you have, they wouldn't care any less. So only person who cares about YOUR money is YOU, and that is why you should make trades that you can explain to yourself and hope you are right.
