Good day everyone, I recently joined the forum and I'm still trying to understand so many things. I have been reading Lauda's introductory messages to newbies and I see that there are so many things I need to learn like how I shouldn't trust people and give out my details to anyone.

You started from the right section of the forum and I believe that if you take the information in Lauda's posts seriously, you would have avoided the most challenging part for newbies which is security. In this space, don't trust anyone with confidential information else you will regret it. The second person that replied on this thread shared a lot of useful links which you can go through to learn the basics of Bitcoin and wallets and don't hesitate to ask questions here whenever you encounter any difficulty.
