Ok. that seems to be working again on Chrome.. So now I have a dilemma in regards to playing around with Brave browser or just stick with Chrome.. There is a bit of a hassle to switch... yet maybe it would be good to do so?
Brave used to offer better privacy but they are also making changes with their policies more often so I won't chose brave if privacy is the reason, it's better to go with the TOR. I used to chrome even though it consumes a shit load of my RAM when I keep multiple tabs and for me it is sleeky so it's personal preference to which you can go with. I would suggest try using both and chose which one works better.
Was it a response to the other version no longer working through Chrome?
Other's pointed out the reason and here's the link for the policy changes from google
June 2025: Chrome MV2 deprecation enterprise rollout
Who fixed this version so that it would continue working with Chrome?
It is developed by the OP himself and also mentioned in first post.
