They were discussing about scalability and transaction rate there. It is better to get such information directly on this forum to actually know the reason it was said.

If not that you’ve searched and brought it up here, not anyone could tell that same tweet from cointelegraph was actually a post in this forum during a discussion in 2010 involving Satoshi and another user in the forum. This forum really holds a lot of information that the outside world are making use of now, if only they know the bounty of useful information being dropped here before Satoshi went offline since then.
His statement is that of an assured person who trust very well on what they’ve developed to not fail. Not everyone can be so confident that what they’re building will succeed despite in the means of all tribulations that would easily make it fail if anything goes wrong. He’s the real deal to follow his path on this bitcoin journey. His optimism statement says it all.
