In my country there is one particular man who says, Anything that the government bans gets a more rapid growth than when it was not prohibited. The reason is because the people have seen the government never do something without ill intention behind it.
By the looks of it, he's right. Anything that the government touches, it changes a lot because they're not for good governance after all and all they want is to make sure that there's certain benefit that they'd get from it. And if gambling is banned, gamblers will flock to the illegal ones and that will still continue to the activities that are happening in that country. With or without ill intention, the government sometimes doesn't think for the welfare of its people. What if this ban is just all for the show and a new way of gambling will be introduced and that's only a strategy to eliminate their potential competitors?
