I like Gyökeres, but I'm still not sure he's a player who can compete in the Premier League, especially Arsenal. While Portuguese league defenses tend to be quite spaced out, the PL isn't. The Premier League is the exact opposite. Gyökeres's key is his shooting, which requires him to create shots much quicker in the PL; he needs to be fast, otherwise he'll be blocked too easily and won't be able to maintain his place in the PL.
I have no doubt in Gyokeres to deliver for Arsenal this season because his numbers in the last two seasons speak for him joined with the fact that he has played in England and against top English clubs and flourished so I am convinced he will do well for Arsenal next season but whether he is the key to unlock trophies for Arsenal I don’t know because I feel the problem is beyond just signing a striker.
Yeah we can't ignore the fact that Gyokeres used to play in the Premier League but during this period his performance was not optimal and now he is back with Arsenal even though we know he has the ability, we can't be sure whether he will be able to adapt quickly. Arsenal have spent 65 million to bring in Gyokeres and 2 other expensive players which has spent a total of 224 million which puts Arsenal in the top 3 with the most spending in the transfer window (EPL version) well, we hope that what they spend will be commensurate with their performance next season.
