Well, actually, PSG wants to defend their UCL title again; this is a major project for them. But, we also know exactly that the competition will be even tighter and tighter. In Ligue 1, PSG is clearly unrivaled. That's why they continue to make several signings, both for the starting lineup and for reserves, especially those with potential.

This time, PSG is close to a final deal with Zabarnyi, after reaching positive negotiations with Bournemouth. The details will be released soon. We will see him as a PSG defender, with a five-year contract.

The only advantage that PSG will have in Ligue 1 is signing new players, and still, other teams will tighten their belt so that they can see if they will be able to also dominate the Ligue 1 title. In this process, PSG will be struggling to still retain their Champions League title, even though they know it will be very tough compared to the previous season. They will not let them keep that record of dominating the Champions League in a row for two seasons. That is why I have less hope in PSG this coming season in the league 1.

I think PSG still has a very good chance of maintaining their dominance in Ligue 1. The gap in squad depth gives them a great opportunity to win another trophy. Meanwhile, in the Champions League, although PSG will remain the favorites, I think their chances are as good as those of several other elite teams. Luis Enrique is unlikely to change his team approach and playing strategy next season, despite recruiting new players in this transfer window.

The new Ligue 1 season will begin in the middle of this month, but first, PSG will play Tottenham in the UEFA Super Cup. On paper, PSG are highly likely to add another trophy to their collection, Tottenham are unlikely to be able to pull off an upset. Overall, I see PSG as still in very stable condition, with excellent confidence to compete in various competitions.
