It seems the playstore/appstore's credibility to check harmful apps is now failing and that is alarming since we are talking about money and lifesavings here. I am wondering if they really check it manually or they are using AI do the job? I think not only newbies fall victims to this kind of shitty apps but also experienced crypto enthusiasts. Nowadays, it is really hard to tell scam and legit, hoax from truth without properly doing our own due deligence and it will cause fear to people new or curious about the industry. I am wondering what the crypto community can do to stop this kind of modus?
