I have tried signing up on Yeet twice today and it didn't go through. Is it from my end? Has anyone tried registering today. I cannot just past the "I'm not a bot" verification. It keeps loading endlessly.

I had the same issue... I was on the verge of contacting support or giving up, but after 5-10 minutes, it worked.
Unfortunately the prizepool for the bi-weekly bitcointalk leaderboard is reduced by 70%. From $5000 to $1500 and the prize's gap between winners is just not attractive enough to make people compete to each others. I think with the reduced prizepool, the number of winners should be adjusted as well so it will be more attractive and players will be more challenged to compete for the top prize.
I haven't seen a new competition, but if the prizes are drastically reduced then the number of participants will also decrease. I don't know about others, but for me the site is quite slow at times... it makes my experience "not so good". And it's not my end definitely... I checked the internet speed a few times, all other casinos work fine.
