As football club fans we all have certain clubs which we dislike for some specific reasons. Myself I do have too. Arsenal management isn't completely exempted, Why I was specifically patching some blames on Arteta was due to his resistance on signing a proper 9 for Arsenal in that January transfer window of 2025. He had the resources available for him to sign a proper 9 which was the main problem of arsenal compared to other departments in the team. I felt if Arteta had gotten a top 9 at that period, Arsenal would have really given Liverpool a headache towards winning the EPL trophy last season.
Lol, there are some certain clubs I don't like too, most of them is mainly because of their fans. Years ago, it was Chelsea, those Chelsea fans around where ever I go just makes too much noise and one would wonder if they were the most successive team in the league what would have happened. But now, it doesn't border me anymore, at least they have been winning some trophies. The other team now is Arsenal, oh my goodness, you need to hear this fans make unnecessary noise despite not winning a meaningful trophy for long apart from the FA cup.
Every diehard Chelsea fan as I know do take great pride in their club as a fan more than any premier league club fan and on the part of their club they are not relenting on winning trophy every season which continuously gives their fans that bragging right they express loudly. As for Arsenal I wonder what their fans would be bragging about with because they haven't won the EPL trophy for years now and never won the UCL, so their noise is really questionable.
Well if it's by this, shouldn't Manchester City fans be the noisiest in the league? Because if going according to what you just said, they have been the ones winning the most trophies in the league in recent years and should be the loudest. Likewise Liverpool fans because in recent years too, they have won the league and the UCL. It's just that these fans are not noisy that's just the reality of this particular matter.
Manchester City has been performing well in the Premier League for a long time, but this is not the case. Basically, since Guardiola took charge of Manchester City, Manchester City's performance has started to change and under this manager, Manchester City has won the English Premier League title several times and has a Champions League title to their credit.

Since Manchester City has performed well consistently for several seasons, it is natural that Manchester City's fans have increased recently. Last season, we saw Liverpool perform well and Liverpool has long been doing well in other tournaments including the Premier League Champions League and I think Liverpool will be ahead of Manchester City in terms of club popularity.
So when the two teams with the most fans in the Premier League perform well, it is natural that the fans of those two teams will discuss their matches and speak for the teams.
