How can a real gambler get out of his addiction??
What is your reason for gambling? Do you want to make money by gambling or do you gamble just for fun?

Let him have a gambling budget and follow it strictly. If he cannot control his gambling activities, let him seek help from professionals.
I gamble for fun and for profit. But I don't see gambling as a source of income that's why I gamble with an amount I can afford to lose. Anybody whose target is to make money from gambling will be disappointed because the outcome is unpredictable.
Gambling addiction is hard to let go of but I think seeking for help doesn't do much... people who go for therapy and all of that end up gambling again, even those that go to rehabilitation centers to get all kinds of therapitic help still relapse... stopping an addiction is a personal decision and if you don't do everything in your power to restrict yourself then the help you are getting from professionals is a waste of time
