PSG needs to have what we call fixture luck. They didn't have that last year, but they won again. If they had fixture luck this year, they might have an easier time progressing, but PSG is such a quality team that even if the fixtures aren't in their favor, they're a natural contender for the title in that tournament. Speaking of the French league, they're already unrivaled. I think they'll have a comfortable tournament.
Fixture luck is something I do not pay attention but maybe I will give some attention to it this season because you are correct, there are fixtures certain teams will get and they will experience smooth sail through the season mostly for tournaments like the champions league and other European inter league and club tournaments. PSG had that at some point last season, though that was at the league stage which I believe did helped them to scale through to the knock outs and semi-finals till they won the title.
Wether Paris Saint Germaine have fixture luck or not, I don't think there's anything stopping them from continuing their dominance in the French league. Yeah, for a fact, they weren't doing well in the early stages of the UCL last season but let's be honest, when PSG finally picked form during the knockout stages, they were able to beat everyone both in domestic games and I the UCL.
