Is this what Americans were hopeful of when voting for Trump? I honestly don't think so. The bad thing with American politics is that both parties are distracting people from the real issue. To both the American Left and Right, Billionaires are a protected class. When are people going to realize that billionaires are the enemy?
I think the American working class is better off but if based on what you described makes me think that every policy of any country leader in this world always benefits the upper class. So basically the promise to prosper the people is just nonsense that is always sold during the campaign. In all countries the rich will get richer and the poor will remain poor, new leaders take turns but their vision only benefits themselves and the groups.
