Well, it's just for no serious cause, if you made a very accurate prediction that took you time of research before you finally arrived at your prediction, you might not even care to check anybody's bet because you will already feel confident that your own bet will be more accurate. Maybe everyone would not trust in their own prediction but I do trust mine than anyone else.
You need to have a high level of self-confidence, then you will be sure of what you are doing, and insecure people always look for support from other people. It is more difficult for such people, because the opinion of other people plays an important role for them, and they will ask other people's opinions before they make a final decision. In part, I myself often ask my friends' opinions when I need to make an important decision, but this does not apply to gambling, because no one from my circle is into it, so when it comes to betting, it is always my decision.
