Firstly, massive respect to the Super Falcons for clinching the WAFCON title. The girls played with heart and showed true class. A proud moment for Nigeria, no doubt. But something keeps bothering me... During that final, lasers were visibly pointed at our players, you could see it clearly in several photos and videos that's been circulating the media space. That kind of distraction is dangerous and completely against fair play.

What’s more worrying is that despite all the noise from fans, coaches, and even media, CAF hasn’t said a single thing about it yet(at least the last time I checked). No official statement, no disciplinary move have been made, just complete silence. This is the African football governing body we’re talking about, and the whole thing happened right in a continental final.

So now I’m wondering, are they planning to just sweep it under the carpet?

The Super Falcons have been consistently dominant in African football which is one to be very proud of. On the other hand the use of lasers in the stadium should be considered and banned, it is not the first time I have seen such acts though. They have always been used in top tournaments even in the champions league and world cup, it is becoming a norm for fans and should be banned.

Morocco women knew that Nigeria women will win them and that was why they started using the lasers to distract them but it did not work, Nigerian women still want them, that act by Morocco fans is very wrong the competition is to bring different countries together in love and unity and not to fight each other that act by Morocco fans shows that they don't understand the main reason for the competition, because if they do they won't be using lasers on Nigeria players.

FIFA need to ban the use of lasers in any competition be it world cup or champions League any competition at all because I'm sure fans will start using it in order to distract players in the field which is very bad this act by Morocco women should give FIFA an insight that the use of lasers is not good anymore.
Nigeria women did very well in the final they played with Morocco women the come back was massive they surprised me, I never believed they will win the match they should keep it up.
