do you think that there is an association between a calamity and higher cases of crime in a country?

Calamities lead to a loss of livelihood and possessions, and many take time for citizens to recover. If the government cannot provide continuous relief, citizens from poor sectors often resort to crime.

We lose orders in times of calamity, particularly when the catastrophe is catastrophic, as seen in the case of one of the islands in the Philippines, which was hit by a super typhoon, resulting in over 90% damage to the province.
