Frankly I was quite surprised when I know that Son would be leaving Tottenham Spurs this season. He may not be young anymore, but I think he can at least stay in the Premier League for another 2-3 years. Besides that he has a big contribution and he is also the captain, so there will definitely be something different at Spurs when Son is no longer playing there. Without Son it would probably leave a big hole and now it will be interesting to see who Spurs will bring in to replace Son.
It certainly will leave a big hole indeed. Sad news but probably the best decision for both the sides, imo. After a decade of loyalty I guess it's justified if Min son wants to leave and play in the major league soccer. From 23 years to till now, man that's a long time. A true spurs legend, a loyal player and one of the best captain I have ever seen. But his personality and kindness, you don't see that too often and that's makes him one of the best and biggest, don't u think so?. I hope that he'll make a good choice with his next challenge.
Son Heung-min is already 33 years old and he realizes that he is no longer young and it is difficult to compete at the highest level, if you look at his age maybe Son Heung-min can only play 2 or 3 more seasons to keep pushing himself at the top of his performance and now Son Heung-min has decided not to force it and prefers to enjoy the rest of his career not to play at the top level anymore, I think it's not a bad decision and the most impressive thing for me is the peak of everything, namely when last season Son Heung-min was able to present a trophy for Tottenham last season after 10 seasons with the Tottenham team.
With high dedication and loyalty, Son Heung-min deserves to be remembered and made a Tottenham legend.
