What can we really expect from Leverkusen now that they are running out of their best players, what's in for ETH and Bayer Leverkusen?
I see Leverkusen main mission is not to dominate the League but rather to pursue financial gain that's why they sell important players at high prices, Leverkusen is not the only team to do this in the Bundesliga we know Dortmund also did it a few years ago the difference is that Dortmund repeats the same pattern every season and actively looks for new talent while Leverkusen got new talents by accident. For next season I would not be surprised if Munich dominates the league again because that is their main focus while their finances are always stable so Munich will not use the same method as Dortmund and Leverkusen.
What you saying is that Dortmund and Leverkusen have owners that doesn't have it in mind to remain at the top as giant of the Bundesliga by winning trophies and in Europe they can't go far only making money, is that it? This system in which they operate will definitely bring in profit no doubt, 100% true but believe me when I say this, they'll never get to that position they were as of when they won the league title, talking about Leverkusen alone, because Dortmund are long gone and their records have been poor but good in bringing good players which they won't make use of in a long run but sell to make gain.
The money that they need that's the Leverkusen owner will be the same reason why many players will seek for growth elsewhere, because no player wants to remain at a place where he can lift a trophy for the number of years spent at a club. Like you said, Bayern Munich will continue that dominance next season I see it that way because no team is ready to step up to make every season stressful for them by snatching the title that they see as a birth right and which means that all the other clubs are just there in the Bundesliga for no reason, very bad, no wonder Bayern are the only club that have good records in the champions league.
