If we compare them both, both are quite good with their efforts and experience, but if we look at them in the team, Leverkusen is playing quite well and better. Erik ten hag improves his team with his efforts, but he is not preparing his team's players in any way, due to which Manchester United is not being so successful yet. Now his coach and his team should improve themselves by playing well. His development will be good, but there will also be a difference in the team's players, this will make Leverkusen better, but Manchester United was not doing well, due to which we will blame Manchester United's players, not this coach.
They do believe that things will not become a lot more confusing with the Erik Ten Hag move and they will continue to be decent at least. I mean even Leverkusen fans are aware that they are not going to win the league and that is a fluke, but they want to stay second place if possible.
Losing Frimpong and Wirtz means that they are going to get worse and that doesn't mean they are going to lose a lot, they will definitely look to do a better job and stay second even after losing those two players. That is going to be tough one, but that is not going to keep them from going down. It would make sense for them to focus on how to do a better job if they just focus on the top four, if they can do that for a few years more, the money they make could help them get better.
