Ojinga I'm so confused about your write up, you are asking the OP question if when faced with a health challenge and is to choose between his health and his coin, and later you diverted to discipline so are you saying that if you are face with such challenge you won't sell your coin because you are disciplined not to do so, I think one should choose his health first, health is better than any money or coin when you are dead you can't continue your investment but when you are still alive you can always continue and even succeed.
And again it is always advised as a bitcoin investor to have a backup funds which is your emergency, reserve and float funds, this backup funds will help you in times of emergency for example health emergencies, now instead of you to deep hand into your Bitcoin investment what you will do is now to deep hand inside your backup funds, if you are an investor without a backup funds then surely you will use your investment for an emergency but if you have a backup funds you will always keep your investment safe.
I think I've cleared him on that, his questions are quite understandable based on the economic situation of our country and based in health issues too, but I've made him understand that Bitcoin is for everybody and even a low income earner can still participate in benefiting from it so far they can be patient and be consistent with their investment no matter how little they'll still make profits since the price of Bitcoin increases as time goes.
As for emergency issues I've made him understand the aim of having an emergency fund intact for situations like that it's very beneficial for an investor cause the investor won't have to tamper with their investment when they want to settle emergency bills like health care bills, It's good that you helped explained further to make him understand better and convince him that in this economic situation one can still invest on Bitcoin all it just requires is proper understanding and good planning.
