This is why the Bundesliga can be called a farmers' league, as only Bayern Munich has the focus and ambition to win trophies, while other teams focus on profit making through player sales and other means. It's boring but that's the situation we see every season. Besides focusing on profit, these teams also lack the financial resources to compete with Munich.
After Leverkusen surprise victory with Xabi, we'll see Munich dominance in the Bundesliga return.
As much as this may want to sound true, it does not completely sound true because I do not want to believe other teams are not willing or do not want to win the league title at some point, the only issue here is in the fact that Munich do not at any point relent at chasing the league title, two seasons ago when Leverkusen was able to build strong rivalry it became clear that Munich is not undefeated, they can be denied of the title if only others have the right management to get them the title and it is not even much about financial strength because the likes of Dortmund are rich enough only that they are like the actual farmers here with the way they do with their players.
Bayern Munich's resources are superior to those of other teams, similar to Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. However, they still face several rivals who could very well prevent them from winning the title.
Take Borussia Dortmund, for example. However, Borussia Dortmund has its own problem: they seem to be indifferent to performance, which has ultimately led to their continued failure to compete with Bayern Munich. They are more concerned with the profits they can make from selling the star players they have acquired.
