DCA - an investment approach in which a fixed amount of money is invested in specific assets at regular intervals, regardless of market price fluctuations

In simple terms, this is a great approach to investing where you don’t have to go through FOMO, track the price of Bitcoin, and constantly worry about investing in Bitcoin when the price was not profitable. A great DCA strategy takes everything into account. You simply invest at regular intervals, accumulating fractions of Bitcoin.
This is the most simple and effective for beginners. I have heard that many experienced traders have lost money in search of the perfect trading strategies, and ultimately chose DCA.

Investing and trading are two quite different things, so beginners who want to invest should truly understand this in more detail. Because when beginners want to position themselves as investors by investing in Bitcoin, they certainly don't have to worry about price drops or be affected by Bitcoin price movements because they simply need to buy and store them appropriately without any pressure. Meanwhile, traders who are tired of seeking short-term profits might also turn to the method you mentioned. So, why become traders if we end up choosing the path used by investors?

Because Bitcoin is so different from other coins, it doesn't need to be brought into trading. But for other coins, I think it's okay to bring them into trading because other coins are not as good as Bitcoin, so releasing them back into the market sooner is the right step and we should keep Bitcoin while trying to buy it again and again from time to time.
