It is reasonable to asume it is not safe to gamble at brink and mortar casinos if one lives in developing countries, to be honest. After all, we criminals know that casinos are a place where they can find easy victims for them to mug or even kidnap to get money, people who carry a significant amount of cash with them and are intoxicated, making then easy prey for them.
I dont know but having your own group to who watches each other is important here, be it a grand casino in Las vegas or a shady casino in Bangladesh. If you are in a group you have less chances of getting attacked and another important thing is to avoid any sort of consumables. Bring your own food or buy and eat it immediately. Never accept drinks and never look at the ladies.

In this context, online gambling is much safer. It might not give you that sort of vibe, but safety of physical money is at least covered here.
