It is not yet possible to make a sure statement on whether Manchester United's performance has really improved. Manchester united have played against Everton, Bournemouth and Westham in the last few matches. Manchester United won only against Bournemouth by a large margin, it was 4-1. United failed to win against everton. The match was drawn 2 - 2. Even though the opponent was not that much strong , Though united could not win. Do they have the ability to win against big teams like City and Chelsea ? Manchester United need to try to strengthen their defense more . They  have conceded goals in all three matches.
Hope you know that several big teams have lost in the pre-season, even Arsenal lost the chance of winning a cup to Tottenham, Barcelona conceded 3 goals against an Asian team but when it comes to Manchester United the media is always quick to react, you didn't even talk about the fact that they've not lost to any team in the pre-season that's an improvement, you're only bothered about the goal they conceded.

Yes mate , I know that several big teams have failed to win in pre-season matches. And Manchester United have won, not losing a single match. That is certainly good. But does this prove that Manchester United's performance has improved ? So, have teams like Arsenal and Liverpool, who have lost in pre-season matches, seen their performance decline ? I mean, considering the performance of pre- season matches, this result is not likely to indicate whether the teams' performance has improved or declined. We should be patient. We will understand within 3/4 weeks of the start of the season whether Manchester United's performance has improved or not.
