Ten Hag may have had a bad time at Manchester United but that doesn't make it a certainty that similar faith could catch up with him at Leverkusen. He can turn the tide and change a lot of things with the club if only he can start now to take bold steps in making the right decisions with his team.
The current squad in the team he took over as the manager is the reason why everyone is pointing that he's going to fail in Bayer Leverkusen, the team has sold some good players and they are yet to replace them how do you think Ten Hag is going to succeed in the league when he couldn't make it in Manchester United where he had different players that he could work with how? I hope he turns things around and make himself a good name cause if he fails this time then he will find it difficult to get a big contract with any big team.
Alright, but why would Ten Hag agree to take a job to a club he wouldn't be getting the funds to sign some of the fine players into his team but rather the club management be selling off the good players he could use for the season to build a strong competitive team. If Ten Hag has to lead another bad season with Leverkusen after leaving United with a bad record it will be a dent to his profile in getting a bigger job after Leverkusen's, it is something he should know.
This season I think Bayern leverkusens board aren’t expecting much from Erik ten Haag yet, as this is his first season taking charge of the club, the major task he will have is to be able to assemble and build his team so they could adapt to his style of play knowing fully well that some couple of leverkusens first team players that won the league two seasons ago have already departed to other clubs, and the club have also been able to bring in some couple of new faces to the team who are still young players and will definitely need some time to adapt at least for the first full season. There are other good clubs in the bundelsliga such as Borussia Dortmund who will also try to compete for the league this season and they also made some good signings too. So, I think Erik ten Haag knows what’s at stake at this point of his career, managing leverkusen shouldn’t be too difficult for him as he has been able to do well in similar team to leverkusen such as Ajax where he won the Eredivisie title during his time and also did very well in the Champions League during his time with Ajax. I believe Leverkusen wouldn’t be challenging for the league this season rather a top four finish will be a good start for Erik ten Haag, and maybe next season they should be fighting for the title.
