I have come across different topics here in the forum about how to store a seed phrase, what is the best way to store a seed phrase, and other topics like these. But my question is: do we need to teach people how to be secretive when it comes to seed phrases? Do we need to teach people the best way to store seed phrases? I think this is something that should be kept secret, and people need to look for the best way, unknown to anybody else, to store their seed phrases.
I feel that discussing how to store a seed phrase gives third parties and scammers a clue about how people store their seed phrase. I want to know, for the sake of beginners, do we really need to teach novices how to store seed phrase, what is meant to be secret? Or should they learn themselves the best way, which only they can remember and have access to their seed phrase.
No. When you are signing up a on platform and they say your password is not strong enough, usually they give you some hints of what a strong password should look like. They ussually hint something like :
Create strong passwords · At least 12 characters long but 14 or more is better. · A combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
or this - A strong password hint should be memorable for you, but not easily guessed by others. Avoid using personal information like your name, address, or birthday. Instead, consider using a phrase, a lyric, or a combination of random words that only you would understand. A good password hint can be a related word or phrase that jogs your memory without giving away the actual password.
