Bitcoin Jimmy has been in Bitcoin for many years, but he has sadly not devoted enough time to learn the basics to keep his money safe. He even confirmed that he was using a Coldcard Q coupled with Sparrow Wallet on his desktop. Still, he believed importing his seed into a hot wallet (genuine or not) and destroying his cold storage in the process was a good idea.
That's a very wrong move jimmy, hardware wallet word seed should stay for HW use only, importing it on any wallet is very bad idea it should be done as last option for recovery, worse is importing it on a mobile wallet, what worst is, it is fake is a very wrong move. You should really learn the hard way jimmy.
That was a fatal mistake for Jimmy.
Perhaps he thought that importing the seed phrase into a mobile wallet would be easier to use than a hardware wallet, but this turned out to be an unforeseeable mistake for Jimmy.
How could he trust a mobile wallet [Sparrow] with a 1.0 rating on the App Store? Didn't he suspect that it might be fake?
