what is the difference between gambling fever and gambling addiction?...
Gambling fever differs from gambling addiction in that in this state the player can still control himself, but under the influence of excitement he loses control of himself for a short time, as a result of which he can lose several bets in a row.
The gambling fever can just be seen as an early stage of gambling addiction, because if you are being lost by the excitement you get from winning, you lose most control over yourself and later end up losing your bets without controlling how you play. If you don't realise yourself on time, you end up getting addicted. It's just the same sign every addicted gambler today sees but overlooks, which later grows to a stage that they can no longer control.
