If AC Milan is really concerned about building a new team then am sorry it's not with players like Modric because truth be told he has passed his prime as a player and I don't see any difference that he will bring to the club going to Saudi to collect his pension would have been the best option for him.
Modric can't be playing at a top level again injuries will be coming at a regular basis plus the Italian seria A is one league that is a very physical which his age can't accommodate so I don't see any thing fantastic about Modric move to Milan
Since last several season, AC Milan have financial problem and not easily for building a new team dominance by top youth talented players, I don't think bad by signing Luka Modric from Real Madrid but he was over age and not really sure can perform well for 90 minutes every games. Quite bad decision by selling Theo Hernandez to Al Hilal and he had top performed with Milan in last two season, I don't think easily for Milan building new and great team for next season by selling top players but not balance yet with new recruitment.
One advantage side for Milan prepare team next season, not participating at Champion League make them not playing many matches such as other top fourth Serie A teams and have chance how to fight for finishing at top standings position. However not easily regarding Milan's team composition talking about possibility for winning Scudetto or reach the Champion League spot standings next season.
