A lot of Manchester United fans have been saying that the club is back to winning ways because of their last performance against Bournemouth. Manchester United supporters have gone as far as saying that Manchester United will shock everyone next season lol. I hope so, that is what we want, let them increase and tighten the competition in the league next season. We want premium entertainment.
These are just preseason friendly matches, well fans are usually meant to be obsess with their club especially when they see signs of the team recovering from poor performing. I have see highlights of Manchester United play during this few matches and some things are beginning to get better, it hasn't reached the stage whereby we can be confident that they will suppress other teams in the top spot, United are capable of finishing somewhere between 5th - 7th position this season.
Having a better performance in preseason games doesn't guarantee good performance when the season begins. I have seen clubs whose performances are very good during the preseason games, but as the season begins, we see the unexpected.
You can see the real competition and good energy in clubs as the season begins, and there is no need to be too excited about the performance of Manchester United in the preseason league. However, I wish Manchester United's performance improves this season because, for a long time, the performance of the club in the Premier League has never encouraged the fans.
