It is becoming a jungle out there, every day more difficult to stay up to date with the safest practices of good sense and good computer conduct and more.
Ledger is not safe anymore even if purchased from the manufacturer site because last time I informed myself about them they planned to release the so called " ledger recovery service" which provides backup with the possibility of restoring the seed phrase even if it is lost or destroyed....but backup in on cloud  ...not to mention you need to undergo KYC to use it.
