These are just preseason friendly matches, well fans are usually meant to be obsess with their club especially when they see signs of the team recovering from poor performing. I have see highlights of Manchester United play during this few matches and some things are beginning to get better, it hasn't reached the stage whereby we can be confident that they will suppress other teams in the top spot, United are capable of finishing somewhere between 5th - 7th position this season.

You said that they were just preseason games, but you have full confidence that Manchester United can finish between 5th and 7th in the Premier League. It's obvious that you're also judging them based on their new signings and preseason games, and not their last season performances. This is only a preseason game but the fans expected the players to be at the top, so they should expect them to continue with that same energy in the league. I would not be surprised if Manchester United failed to improve during the season games.

Of course, fans expectations for their favorite team will always be high. Manchester United has made about two signings, and fans expect its attacking team to be a threat to any opponent. It was only preseason games, but other teams, like Liverpool, destroyed their opponents with new signings, and their performances is going to be great in league games.

Indeed, it seems that pre-season matches cannot be used as a benchmark for how later a club will undergo matches in domestic league matches and others because it is sometimes possible that a club in pre-season matches always wins but when competing in non-preseason matches sometimes always loses and it is no secret that sometimes it always happens like that.

But if you see Man United in pre-season matches such as in the Premier League Summer Series, of course, it will definitely be different from ordinary pre-season matches because there is a trophy. but yes, it is unique in every pre-season match, of course, we will subconsciously judge the team and if the performance is good in pre-season matches, of course, we will automatically predict that the team will perform well in the domestic league or something else. Yes,
the Manchester united fans will certainly want Manchester united to perform well in the league as in the pre-season match but yes of course this is a natural thing but of course Liverpool will certainly have the potential to become a team that is difficult for Man united to beat and of course it is still certain that Manchester united will be difficult if it is to reach the highest rank in the EPL next season. yes we'll see what happens later. but what is clear is that Manchester united will have progress in the coming season.
