@OP, what is the difference between gambling fever and gambling addiction? From your post, I don't see any difference or any unique difference of things that have been discussed here before as a causes of addiction and how to prevent it. Both are too similar, if not the same.
There is nothing significant in their difference, in fact, they are slightly different. The main difference between gambling fever and gambling addiction is the duration and the intensity. In gambling fever, the duration is short, typically lasting two to three weeks, and the intensity is also low. In contrast, gambling addiction has a longer duration and a higher intensity. When you face a loss and start chasing it for weeks, you may soon recognize the problems and control yourself, deciding to stop gambling, which indicates gambling fever. Here, you stop in time. However, in gambling addiction, you chase a loss for months, and the intensity is so high that you can't control yourself, having one mission, to recover that loss. I hope this difference helps you understand a little better.
