I think we are on the same page because so many people think that Manchester United will return to the top but despite that we shouldn't underestimate their performance at least let give them hope by saying they may likely get back to the top because football nowadays changes a lot and full of surprises. Quite right last season was among the worst season ever for Manchester United but despite their performance in the Premier League they really stood up in Europa League which they presented themselves as the favourite to win the league due to their excellent performance in the competition. Amorim really make a very good choice by focusing on Europa League since they know that they are not relegating but unfortunately they where defeated by Tottenham.
I don't have much hope for Manchester United, especially in the Premier League. They completely disappointed last season. I don't see any hope for them even for the upcoming season. Because there is no change in them and apart from the change of coach, there is no big change in Manchester United. We can only trust Amorim and watch Manchester United's matches to see his performance. As a coach, it is definitely important to see how much he can improve his team from the bad position. I will be happy to see them improve a little. The fight may not be easy for Ruben Amorim.
Amorim can only try his best and if the team add more effort to improve themselves and create a good bond between themselves, maybe, we might see something different next season. However, if the players remain in their unserious state, we will see another worst performance from them. I look forward for the sales of those players who are in the offloading list.
A lot of people believe Manchester United will not do well in the Premier League next season because they performed poorly and finished in the 15th position in the Premier League table in the just-concluded Premier League season. When the Club World Cup tournament started, nobody believed Chelsea would win the Club World Cup trophy, but Chelsea qualified for the final of the Club World Cup and even overcame their biggest test and defeated PSG. So since nobody has the ability to see what will happen in the future, I will suggest we should wait for the new Premier League season to start so that we can see if Manchester United will perform well or not.
