Am not that surprised at all because of few reasons, first, we are the most populated country in Africa, and all Nigerian by birth and by location knows how to relate with people in our pigin language, secondly, even some foreigners knows how to speak our pigin like Ghana and some other indigen of other west African states.

If am not mistaken it was two months ago that they Henry the legendary arsenal striker was saying on air that he knows how to speak our pigin because kanu nwankwor thought him, and he was saying it in pigin and I quote "I say speak pigin oo, no look me that kind eye thinking say I no know wetin you dy talk about because I understand you well, and na kanu nwankwor nai I learn from since him dy always talk to me with pigin"; so what am trying to say is that most foreigner knows how to speak our pigin well, so I don't doubt this news.
