Most of the people never realize it, they really think is real money, but in the best of the cases the "winner" can have a percentage of that win. They are more like a paid actors than other thing.

all gamba streamers have a deal, nothing is wrong with that imo, but it depends on the type of the deal and whether they are transparent about it.
some keep a % of ending balance (with a max cap ofc), some get raw balance to play with, if they win they can keep the full win, and then there are those with fake balance who get paid a monthly salery to stream.
