Your position will be liquidated only if you have not set a stop loss. Accordingly, if your position has been liquidated, it means that you ignore risk management and it means that you are not engaged in trading, but in a casino.
You should know that not everyone makes use of stop loss when trading, some people prefer to monitor their trade on their own, and that doesn’t make the person a gambler, and they don’t really like making use of stop loss...

Yes, there are some traders who manually monitor their order. But you won't be able to control your position around the clock. It is better to lose 2-3% using a stop loss than to lose the entire deposit without using it.
