This is why i always recommend creating a monthly budget that you dont go over.
It's a great idea , some people like to organize their budgets on a monthly basis and it works out well for them, each one of us has a special way of putting our funds so that we can be efficient in our expenses, something that is unforgivable is not paying services , taxes , because they simply cut off services and at this point being left without service is something very bad, for that reason allocating money to gambling for me is the last thing I consider since sometimes there is no money left for it.
