United should not be expected to do better this season. I mean in a "better" sense that they may not finish 15th, sure they can finish higher, but expecting them to be in top 4 or something? That is just a delusion and you are not going to see that. They didn't even do that many transfers, just two players so far, how could you expect them to do better?
I expect them to miss out on UEFA places once again, because neither Amorim showed any improvement after he took over, nor any players got any better. They need some more transfers for that to happen, if they do end up with 2-3 more players before the summer window closes, then yeah maybe they will get better, but the league is starting soon and they still didn't make a move yet.
We know Manchester United has only brought in two new players so far it is too early to say they can not finish in top four. New manager Ruben Amorim is great strategist who can improve team. Current players like Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are still very talented and they can become more consistent under his leadership. But finishing in top four is tough goal it is not impossible with new coach and strong team especially since there is still time to sign more players
