Concerning the Ademola Lookman and Atlanta saga, the president of the club Lucas Percassi has come out to say something. He admitted that PSG offered €20 for Lookman and he asked the club to sell him but the club refused and instead said they will let him go this summer but under two conditions that he himself set.
1. He will move to a top European club
2. He will not put on any other jersey in Italy apart from Atlanta jersey.
Are you sure the offer is €20 million? while we know other clubs are willing to pay 40-50 Million so I don't think they will respond to the 20 million offer. Based on the contract, Atlanta still has 1 more season to prepare for Ademola Lookman move so they won't be rushing in this transfer window, and if Lookman performance remains stable next season then his market value will be higher well the problem is that Lookman refused to play in the next match because he insisted on moving this season.
Reading through, you would understand that this offer for Lookman by PSG was for last season. PSG never attempted to sign him this summer so it's easy to know it was for last season. What if he doesn't perform this season as compared to his previous season, if course his market value will depreciate and the would even see the amount that Inter has tabled. Again, if a player is nearing his end of contract year, the price his to be sold depreciates too. So definitely, next season his price tag will be lower than what his valued for now.
