You're right the economic situation of china was not good some years back, but right now there is a lot of development going on both in technology and the rest. and that is because they stand as one to make some changes and they seemed to have good leadership which is why they were able to make this work, Because bad leadership can contribute to the down fall of some countries as they won't be thinking about something positive for the country, so Long as they are getting all thier heart desires they are perfectly ok with it they don't care about the welfare of the people.
