@OP, what is the difference between gambling fever and gambling addiction? From your post, I don't see any difference or any unique difference of things that have been discussed here before as a causes of addiction and how to prevent it. Both are too similar, if not the same.
Indeed. When I read the title, I was like, Gambling fever? Then I read the post and thought, Huh? That’s gambling addiction, it’s the same thing. I thought it was something new or different. Everything OP mentioned is what gambling addiction really is. If you have a gambling addiction, you're already dealing with all the things OP listed. So, for me, it's just a different term used by OP. In the end, it all comes down to a lack of discipline in gambling. Everything mentioned leads to or caused gambling addiction.
Yeah, I exactly felt the same way too, op simply talked about gambling addiction but like you said, he decided to use a different term, or should I say that he coined a different name for it, but then the truth remains that what ever we choose to call it, addiction to gambling is the same across all forms of gambling.
As gamblers, it's very important for us to avoid getting addicted at all cost, because it's indeed a fever, a very strong sickness which we find it's cure in the form of drugs in the market, so while gambling, it is expected we be extra cautious and always ensure we are playing by the rules of responsible gambling.
