I have been learning a lot so far since joining the forum and reading the pinned posts in this board and in Meta as well. As I was searching for more guides, I came across this post:

I decided to look for such how-to guides and found these (probably outdated) threads:

These are just the ones that I have found, but there's probably more of them. It took me some time and a bit of effort to find these. It's not really a problem, but it was a little inconvenient. I think these types of guides are really good and should be easily accessible for everyone (especially for newbies making redundant threads).

Having a subforum for guides would be so much better. It can also be easily maintained and updated with new guides. It seems that people have brought up this topic before and even made compilation threads, but they are just being buried among countless others as time passes by. That's why I was wondering why the idea had never progressed?
