The Seria A is not like the French League where the winner of the Ligue One is highly predictable. Inter Milan was close to defend the trophy but surprisingly Napoli that had a poor previous season overlook them and won the League with a single point. If AC Milan has a good coach and can assemble committed players, we might see it winning the Scudetto. They have had some bad times recently and the fans need something to celebrate.
Serie A is far more competitive than anyone imagines. In La Liga, we consistently see Barcelona or Real Madrid winning more titles. And in Ligue 1, it's the same, as PSG consistently wins. In the Bundesliga, it's also quite easy to predict which team will win. Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Manchester City has consistently won the title for the past few seasons. Even there, it's still very competitive. But Serie A is very different. Almost every season, we see a different winner. Although Napoli has won the title twice in the last three seasons, Napoli still has times when they've been struggling. And Serie A can sometimes be unpredictable. However, Inter Milan is one team that consistently manages to capture everyone's attention because they are a team that is always able to compete strongly for the title.
Given the way the teams in the Italian league performed last season, it is difficult to predict the league in advance. Last season, we saw that most of the teams in the Italian league performed well until the end of the season and the points gap between each team was very small.
