Out of sight, out of mind. Keep keys very hard to access that would require doing something other than the most fun thing there is to do, and that is sitting on your computer.
Out of site is not out of mind, the only practice that I believe works best investing into Bitcoin, is investing money you don't need, taking you for instance, If you have 1million and use $100 on Bitcoin you won't be bothered about anything ,volatility or being tempted to sell your Bitcoin because you're at peace with that amount of money and can leave months off thinking about using it to solving your problems.
