Have you made a lot of reports in the Beginners & Help section and they were left unhandled? Or did you open this thread just because you saw there were no listed board-specific moderators? If the reports haven't been looked into, theymos might consider appointing a new moderator,
As someone who actively reports for wrongly posted threads (B&H) and spam (rarely), all those reports were handled almost instantly so it's not like we have a backlog in the moderation in the mentioned section so we need a dedicated mod. With the current system it works perfectly fine.
@OP, all merit sources can merit any posts irrespective of what board it's made, it's just their interest to pick what to merit and what not to.
