When buying a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor, make sure to buy it directly from the official website or authorized sellers. Some scammers are selling fake ones that can steal your cryptocurrency.
I think i saw something of this nature on the forum recently created, also talking about how we can get a hardware wallet and the source to use, this shows that we need to be mindful of which hardware wallet to buy, which has a lot to do with the brand name, then also, the means of acquiring one, which i will advise that we should always consider using their official platform in getting one, than buying randomly form stores and other unaccredited sellers.
It's an old story, scammers started tampering these devices long time ago and selling them online. That's the reason to always buy them
new and from the
official sellers.
As per Ledger being a bad hw wallet, I don't agree with some members who posted before. There was a data leakage which, while annoying, didn't affect the safety of the users' funds.
