Manchester United had their worst season, finishing in 15th place in the English Premier League table. Their performance was really poor because the entire team wasn't in good shape, even though they were only focused on the UEFA Europa League in hopes of securing a spot in the Champions League this coming season. But unfortunately, their plan didn't work out, and Manchester United has been busy in the transfer market by adding new players to the team. I believe they have realized their mistakes, and I am confident that with these new players, they will perform better and compete for this coming season.
Manchester United have been struggling for more than one season now in order to get back of their feet but all to no avail. So many players bought and changes made in the management including the head coach but they haven’t really felt the result of the changes yet. They have made quite a number of good signings in the club and are looking to make more in order to bring together a formidable squad in the Premier League to battle for the title next season. They didn’t qualify for any European competition, so they’ll concentrate more on the domestic league and try to prevail as much as they can in next season’s premier league.
Some people are judging the club friendly match thinking that is how the main competition will go which is not suppose to be view like that, I feel like some teams don’t even take this friendly club match to some extent because how I see their performance. it’s just a pre-season matches that they are playing, and for Gyokeres the player is new to the team and he need time to get adapted to the club and how the style of their play works, so we can’t expect him to give us what we want in a very short period of time.
When you hype a player too much, they may end up not going to perform exceptionally well as you expect from them, so it’s better to lower your expectations from them and see how they grow in the club to reach that height which you envision for them initially and looking up to for them in the club. Gyokeres should not be a center on attention now, they should learn how to play together and coexist well in the field to give the best of results. He will definitely grow with time, if not immediately, it will not take too long. Pre season matches are not enough to rate how a team will perform when the new season begins.
